Privacy
This page describes how Brasspine Exchange currently handles buyer inquiry submissions, provider routing, and buyer account access.
Buyer inquiries
The inquiry form asks for a category (Business Brokerage or Commercial Financing), business needs, city, U.S. state, ZIP code, full name, and email. Phone is optional. It also requires this consent:
“I agree Brasspine Exchange may contact me about this inquiry.”
Checking availability for a category and state does not save an inquiry. When you submit the form and it is accepted, your submitted answers are saved. You do not need to create an account or verify your email to submit an inquiry.
Saved inquiries and owner notifications
Saved inquiries are available in the Brasspine owner workspace. After an inquiry is saved, Brasspine Exchange attempts to email a notification containing the inquiry details to the configured owner recipient. An email attempt does not confirm delivery.
Provider sharing
Brasspine Exchange attempts to email buyer name, email, optional phone, city, state, ZIP code, and business needs only to provider contacts whose profile is verified and published, matches the selected category, covers the selected state, and has a usable contact email.
A Business Brokerage inquiry may be saved even when no matching provider covers the selected state; in that case, no provider email is sent. A Commercial Financing inquiry cannot be submitted or saved without a matching provider. When one is accepted, an email receipt to the buyer is also attempted.
Buyer accounts and inquiry access
Creating a buyer account asks for your name, email, and password. An account is not needed to submit an inquiry. Viewing the inquiry dashboard requires you to sign in with a verified account email. The dashboard shows up to the 100 most recent saved inquiries whose contact email matches that account email, without regard to letter case. This includes inquiries saved before you created the account.
